1000 Acres offers a cornucopia of special weekends. During any given year you will find special weekend packages for singles, couples, dads and moms, or to celebrate Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Fall Foliage, Thanksgiving and the New Year. Most of these weekends feature an array of fun activities: horse drawn carriage rides, country line dance lessons, wine and cheese affairs, pizza parties and much, much more.
Fall brings a different magic to 1000 Acres. Guests thrill to the Adirondack’s stunning fall foliage by traveling through it on horseback. The autumn’s four-hour (based on availability) trail ride not only allows for a leisurely pace through the brilliant colors, but also includes a culinary surprise: the chef brings the chuck wagon to the trail.
